Faster, speed racer!
The cars went fast enough. The colors and costumes were psychedelic. The effects were impressive. But Speed's younger brother and his monkey stole the movie. The twist wasn't that shocking. And there were parts in the middle that I almost dozed off.
Which reminds me I have to buy wheels for my car, Stella. And I was thinking of buying larger wheels than the standard size but then I would have to buy a set of four and that would be heavy on the budget. So back to the movie... Um, I'd let you guys see it for yourselves. You might really like it.
I liked The Matrix trilogy but that had more direction story-wise than this. It seemed this film's story was caught in an eight-shaped race track. So for me, it can only come up to a 2.5 out of 5 stars.
